Jazz Piano
I love the piano! I've been a professional jazz pianist since 1984 and have taught at the Schulich School of Music (McGill) for 20 years. I have developed harmonic, rhythmic, and melodic concepts and exercises that I love to share. I've worked with international jazz greats Joe Lovano and Eddie Gomez, as well as Canadian jazz great Terry Clarke and Dave Young, to name a few.
I studied with Steve during my first year at McGill in Jazz Performance. He has a unique approach to improvisation and harmony. Studying with him opened up my ears to a whole new world of harmonic possibilities.

Vocal Coaching
With me as your vocal coach, you'll have the opportunity to sing with a professional jazz pianist who is also a professional singer. I have accompanied many great singers. I've worked and recorded with jazz legend Sheila Jordan and the Multi-Award-winning Rankin Sisters.
I offer a unique insight into singing as both pianist and singer. We will fine tune your repertoire and get you ready to perform!
